Haha.
This shirt is a classic, the way the hip hop song “Ice Ice Baby,” by Vanilla Ice is. It really brings you back to 1989.
This song helped hip hip break into the mainstream music arena of pop; the song describes Robert Van Winkle’s (real name) experiences in South Florida and a drive-by shooting.
Of course, Vanilla Ice gained a lot of notoriety because part of this song’s music actually came from the song “Under Pressure” by Queen and David Bowie. They eventually got some credit and royalties so I am sure they are happy. This practice, called “sampling,” is now common in current hip hop.
Anyway, those sure were the good ‘ol days, as they say in hip hop.
